Understanding the wall finish
Render, painted finishes and other exterior surfaces vary in condition and manufacturer requirements. Existing cracks, peeling coatings or water ingress should be discussed before cleaning.

Lower-pressure cleaning options
Soft washing uses a lower-pressure approach and may involve a cleaning treatment selected for the surface and contamination. Suitability, products and precautions must be agreed after assessment; it is not appropriate for every finish.
Plants, windows and runoff
Any treatment needs a plan for nearby planting, glazing, fixtures and runoff. Discuss access and surrounding features during the visit, including anything that needs additional protection.
Results and ongoing growth
Organic staining may respond differently from permanent discolouration, weathering or damaged paint. Some treatments continue to act over time. A clean does not repair the finish or guarantee that growth will never return.
Before the visit
Help us assess your property.
Send your postcode and describe what needs cleaning. We’ll confirm the appropriate scope, access requirements and price after assessing the property.
- Tell us about the render or paint system if known.
- Flag cracks, leaks or previous repairs and treatments.
- Identify delicate planting, outdoor electrics and access limitations.
Before you book.
Does render cleaning include repainting or repairs?
No repairs or repainting should be assumed. We discuss cleaning suitability and any visible concerns during the visit. Damaged finishes may need a specialist contractor before cleaning.
What is included in my quotation?
The quotation sets out the surfaces, proposed method and agreed work. Ask about treatment, debris collection, access and finishing work where relevant. Optional work is only included when explicitly agreed.
Can I book more than one service?
Yes. Tell us about every exterior area you want cleaned. We can discuss several services during the same site visit and quote for the agreed scope.
